My hair is growing back in. It's pretty exciting and it's very funny looking. I'd estimate that my hair is about a half an inch long. It isn't the prettiest, but I feel grateful to have it. I keep thinking that I look a lot like a Chia Pet. The amusing part is how the sides lay down, but not the top. The top sticks straight up! It definitely isn't pretty. I can't wait for it to grow long enough that it will all lay down and not poke up all over the place!

My students think it is fun to see how it has grown. I wear a hat all the time now so they ask me often if I will show it to them. Maybe they are curious to see if it is really purple like I had teased before that it was. In any case it is nice to see and hear their excitement. It helps to see their enthusiasm, since I don't exactly feel pretty lately.

Dad is going to see his doctor tomorrow. I wonder if they'll schedule the next surgery at that time. I can't wait to hear what the doctor has to say. I am crossing my fingers that he will give us some good news.
